Go for a Thai meal during National Eating In/Out Week

The week of 17-23 November 2014 is National Eating In/Out Week – designed “to celebrate the fantastic diversity of cuisines available to diners in Britain and also to raise funds for the less fortunate in the world.”

Today the focus is on Thai cuisine and we are happy to join in the celebrations. Thanks to the popularity of Thailand as a holiday destination, Thai food has earned an international reputation as one of the world’s great cuisines. And here in the UK and Ireland we’ve developed a real taste and appreciation for Thai cuisine.

There are now around 2,000 Thai restaurants and take-aways on the high streets of Great Britain. And the fact that the big supermarket chains now commonly stock Thai food ingredients such as lemongrass, Thai basil, coconut milk, as well as convenient Thai Taste meal kits, shows that we love to cook Green Thai curries and Pad Thai at home as well!
