Britain’s Got Talent star, Ronan Parke, former Newsround presenter, Sonali Shah, and renowned National Geographic photographer, Reza, are to judge the 6th annual National Geographic Photography Contest for Kids.

National Geographic Kids magazine is urging children aged 6 – 14 to send in their photos in four categories – people, scenery, humour and animals.

National Geographic Kids is an exciting, monthly magazine, which gives boys and girls a whole new way to explore and have fun while learning about the world. In every issue, readers head off on a journey of discovery, with interactive features about nature and the environment, world cultures and science. With fun puzzles, quizzes and exciting things to make and do, National Geographic Kids is irresistible to readers and a great resource for children, parents and teachers.

The magazine has teamed up with Tourism Thailand UK to offer one lucky child the
fantastic prize of a family trip to Thailand with The Adventure Company, plus a GE X550
camera and a DV1 Adventure Kit. Three runners-up will each receive a DV1 Adventure Kit.

“To judge something like this is amazing!” says Ronan Parke. “The best thing about
photography is that it can capture more than a scene – it could represent a feeling,
a mood or anything. I can’t wait to see what NG Kids readers come up with!”

If you think your child has got what it takes, then head over to ngkids.co.uk to download the entry form and enter the competition!  Remember: The closing date for entries is 31 October 2012.

Not only can you win a Family Holiday with National Geographic Kids and our partners at The Adventure Travel Company and EVA Air, but here on Thailand Reunited we’re offering you the chance to win one of 10 subscriptions to National Geographic Kids and National Geographic magazines.

Good luck & happy snapping!
