1st Samui Fine Dining Festival to take place March 2012

Love to travel?

Love food?

Love Thailand or always wanted to go?

Well, here is the perfect excuse for a trip to the Thai paradise known as coconut island, Koh Samui, next March for a culinary experience never to forget!

The 1st Samui Fine Dining event will take place in March 2012

The 1st SAMUI FINE DINING FESTIVAL is a superb dining extravaganza with the participation of 15 Samui top restaurants. During the month of March 2012, each restaurant will offer a 7-course Fine Dining menu with (or without) a selection of vintage wines for very affordable prices between £30 – 70. In addition, there will be various extraordinary 5-course Gala dinners, gourmet brunches and gourmet degustation buffets during the food festival too.

The SAMUI FINE DINING FESTIVAL is the first joint event in the history of the island which is being organised to promote Samui as a holiday destination via it’s first class dining opportunities in order to enhance the island’s attractivity, reputation and popularity on a global level.

Samui has developed into one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious dining destinations with
first-class premises and chefs. For many, Fine Dining is already an essential element of lifestyle and contemporary holiday making. But for those who are not yet familiar with the topic and want to discover Fine Dining as an alternative element to expand their culinary horizon, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. In addition, Thai hospitality is all around and service always comes with a smile. The 1st SAMUI FINE DINING FESTIVAL is a golden opportunity to experience the best dining the island has to offer.

This event would not be possible without the amazing team spirit between various branches of the local tourism industry such as hotels, restaurants, food & wine suppliers and the local media. The organizers are also pleased to benefit from the mutual cooperation and PR support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Samui Administration, Bangkok Airways, the Samui Culinary Circle and some private initiative.
